My parents and sister, Marianne, conveniently timed their trip down here last week to coincide with the BYU-TCU game at Cowboys Stadium. Thanks again to the new Frontier flights in and out of Provo, as well as Groupon (our recent visit to Utah was thanks to the same deal, which gave us our cheapest TX-UT round trip ever).
Although the outcome was a disappointment (the Cougs would have been in position to win if not for the punt team inexplicably becoming atrocious), we still had a good time.
It was a lovely evening, so Jerry was kind enough to open the roof for us.
Riley Nelson also provided a great highlight.
This is why Cougar fans are happy to take Nelson over Heaps. Sure, Nelson's good for two lame-duck interceptions a game, but he brings a passion that the wooden Heaps lacks. He's not afraid to put it all out there.
Cap is goofy.
Dallas is a fine place to live, but, as I always tell visitors, there are only two touristy places to visit: Cowboys Stadium and the stuff near the West End in downtown where JFK was shot. So guess where else we went?

The high five was the highlight of the game for me!
We should have taken a picture of the cheerleaders on the screen. I didn't get to see enough of them.
